Safety Protocols that have been implemented
due to COVID-19 Pandemic
Keeping your centre Safe!
As a small business I would like to reassure my centre’s that precautions have been put into place to maintain a level of service and ensure the health and well-being of your staff, children, and parents as well as covering myself and my assistant. As an outside Business coming onto your premises, I would like the opportunity to advise that extra processes have been put into place, this includes increased cleaning and hygienic measures, as well as social distancing procedures.
What we need for your Centre to organize for photo Day
To be efficient on Photo Day we really need your help to minimize time at centre, the more you can help us the less disruption for your day. To maintain social distancing rules, we would like to ask that you organize yourself or a staff member to be assigned to us between the hours of 7:30am-11:30am to help with the following:
- Collecting children and bringing them down to photo room
- Wiping children’s faces if not cleaned.
- Assisting younger children on background
- Older children can be sent to photo room if they are able to sit on a chair while you shuffle younger children between photo room.
Each Class Room
- Before sending children to photo room please dress them in outfit parent has requested.
- Clean faces and hands
- Comb or fix hair if needed
- One outfit per child, no outfit changes once in photo room.
- Have children ready to be collected by staff member that has been assigned to photo room.
Social Distancing
- 2 staff members can be in photo room with Photographer/Assistant at the one time + up to 5 children, social distancing will be implemented between staff and Flutter Bug Photography.
- Photographer and Assistant will stay in photo room to limit exposure to centre staff and children.
- Fun signs have been made for children to sit on and wait for their turn.
- If we can be placed in corner of the biggest room available (Preschool) or a vacant room.
- No parents will be allowed in photo room, parents to sign children into classes and staff member will bring children down to room when it is there turn.
- Staff Portraits/ Tag team staff at the end of morning after all children have been photographed.
Children that do not attend centre on day
We will concentrate on children that attend centre on day first to work in with feed and sleep times.
- Allocated time slot will be between 11:00 am-11:30 am.
- Once child arrives at centre they can be brought down by director or allocated staff member to photo room, we will do these children asap so parents can leave and get on with there day, to minimize waiting times.
Traditional Outdoor Group Photo’s in 2020
- Babies & Toddler groups will be Composite Groups only
- Children in older rooms between the ages of 3-5yrs can be self-directed onto photo bench with minimal help so we can still accommodate centre’s that like Traditional groups.
- Traditional groups will take 30 minutes out of the morning.
- Composite Groups are preferred during Covid-19, but I will work in with what you would like.
Sanitizing/Social Distancing
As a photographer there are certain props that make children smile, without these it is hard to make children’s attention. All props will be kept at a minimal for the foreseeable future.
The following measures have been put into place and have been carried out to protect children and centre from outside bacteria.
- I will be washing and disinfecting all props, chairs before and after each centre’s photo day.
- 1.5 metre rule between Photographer/Assistant/Children/Staff at all times.
- Washing four tickle sticks for each centre; after each centre’s shoot they will be put into marked bag for cleaning.
- I will not tickle around face area or hands, if I do touch a child’s nose, mouth or eye area with stick it will be discarded and not used for the rest of the day.
- Wooden props such as plane, hand signs and eggs will be washed in detergent solution and then sprayed with Milton Anti Bacterial solution if or when child puts them in mouth, once spayed they will be left for 10 minutes to air dry before continued use throughout morning.
- Puppets that I use will be washed in between each centre use. (Photographer use only)
- Wet Wipes for children’s noses will be sealed in a zip lock bag to stop viruses from spreading. Photographer and Assistant will not be wiping children’s faces.
- Hand sanitizer will be used by Flutter Bug Photography throughout morning.
- Camera is wrapped in glad wrap before each centre’s photo morning to protect from bacteria; glad wrap will be removed from camera before packing in camera bag.
- Solution will be used to disinfect all photography cases, bags upon entry/exit of building.
- All surfaces in packing room will be wiped with disinfectant before the packaging of prints, gloves will be worn by staff in the duration of process. Delivery of prints will be delivered to your centre’s front door. I will call office once I arrive to let you know you can collect prints from your centre office front door (Zero Contact Delivery). I will wait until order has been collected before I leave the centre.
- Flutter Bug Photography does have masks on hand if you prefer us to wear them due to parent concerns.
